Thanks Krisztina for your comment. Virtual staging if done correctly can be perfectly fine. Ultimately, the buyer will find out the truth about a home anyway and if the images are not accurate buyers will most likely not work with the perpetrator. Agents must be cautious, and not misrepresent the property being offered under any circumstances. Since it so cheap to do and can be easily done yourself it never hurts to remove that unwanted trash can in the front yard.

Paul,
Thanks for your comments about virtual staging. Please be aware that our virtual staging service that my husband and I have a patent pending on is not used to alter any vacant properties that are listed for sale. We are traditional stagers here in Atlanta and just wanted to offer our clients another more economical marketing tool for vacant homes. Virtually Staging Properties does not alter any part of the pictures we receive from our clients.
We do not change paint colors, add applicances or remove any items in the vacant pictures that we "virtually" stage. Remember there are the Realtor code of ethics rules! We simply add furnishings and decor only and create more attractive pictures of empty rooms. This gives buyers a chance to see the potential of a home and be able to recognize what rooms they are viewing online. It's a fact that 90% of buyers view their next home online and we want to make those vacant and empty rooms stand out instead of being skipped over by potential buyers. Simply, virtual staging is to help drive buyer traffic to our clients vacant home.
Thanks for your interest in virtual staging and we hope you will read more articles about this effective new marketing tool by clicking on our press page at our website at www.virtuallystagingproperties.com!
Sincerely, Krisztina Bell, Virtually Staging Properties and No Vacancy - Atlanta, GA

First of all, that's a great headline. I'm feeling really threatened as the professional writer of the family.

Here's an interesting article about the the power of census workers and landlords. Fight the Power!
